Patients seeking longer, more comprehensive visits, functional testing beyond conventional medicine, and an integrative approach that focuses on nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle changes can also benefit from our Functional Telemedicine services.
How Does It Work?
- Prospective patients contact Wellness First at (561) 491-4666 to speak with a Patient Care Team Member who will provide information about our Functional Telemedicine Practice and learn a little about you and your healthcare goals.
- If you are interested in pursuing the functional medicine journey, and wish to continue the process, you will be scheduled for a complimentary, fifteen-minute Telemedicine visit with Dr. Bitar.
- If you decide to join, Dr. Bitar will schedule your initial visit and send you a link to fill out our New Patient Questionnaire. If you are unsure about joining, someone from our team will be available to answer any additional questions you may have.
- Your first appointment will consist of a seventy (70) minute Telemedicine visit with Dr. Bitar via a Doximity secure video link.
- You and Dr. Bitar will review the patient questionnaire you completed and discuss your current health state, along with any specific concerns you have about your health, or symptoms you may be experiencing.
- From there, Dr. Bitar will order a series of functional tests pertinent to your personal needs and goals. She will provide instructions for getting your blood drawn or any other direction needed for the tests she will be ordering.
- You and Dr. Bitar will schedule a follow up appointment to review the results of those tests and review your integrative treatment plan.
- Dr. Bitar will answer any questions you have and provide information regarding next steps.
- You will also receive a link to your own personal Functional Telemedicine Portal, whereby you and Dr. Bitar can communicate between visits.
Pricing
- Initial 70-minute visit: $600
- Follow-up 40-minute visit: $350
- Follow-up 60-minute visit: $425
Billing Information
Our telemedicine services are not covered by insurance, so patients are responsible for payment at the time of service. We will confirm your visit and consent for payment the day before your scheduled appointment. We accept all major credit cards and will charge your card at the time of service.

Meet Our Telemedicine Team Physician
Eliane Bitar, MD
Eliane and her family moved from Lebanon to the United States when she was fifteen years old. Soon thereafter, she decided her purpose in life was to serve others through the practice of medicine. She received her undergraduate degree at The University of Arizona and earned her medical degree at The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson. She then completed her Family Medicine residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County-Southern California, and Functional Medicine training at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Her strong passion for medicine drives her to continue learning every day of her career. She considers connecting with her patients, listening to their stories and providing personalized, functional and holistic care to be the most rewarding and motivating aspects of her role as physician.
